Labour minister Zeta Emilianidou said that the government will propose by the end of the year a new set of regulations concerning shop hours as an existing ministerial decree is scheduled to phase out in December.
“If no regulations are submitted then all shops will (remain) closed in all areas as from January 2016” on Sundays and holidays, the labour minister said, addressing lawmakers of the finance committee of the parliament said on Monday.
