Members of the public whose applications to receive the Guaranteed Minimum Income (GMI) were rejected but who are eligible according to the new criteria, may appeal to the Labour Minister Zeta Emilianidou to have their case reviewed, the ministry announced on Tuesday.
Appeal forms are available in all post offices, the district offices of the social welfare service, and on the labour ministry’s website and must be submitted between August 1 and September 30.
All appeal applications must be accompanied with all the documents proving the petitioner’s allegations, the ministry said.
